Is it a song? A generations-old, passed-down liturgy, lines put to rote memory and sung without thinking? Is it a slur of words whispered in the early hours of the morning — the best you could do before the sun wakes? Is it a plea offered from the pit of despair? Is it a last resort? Is it blistering and honest? Naked and exposed?  Is it delicate and tender and wild and unkempt? Is prayer an outburst of unbridled, irresponsible joy? Does it have a melody and a cadence? Is it silent? Can prayer be glorious? Can it be inglorious? Can it be holy? Is it long and slow? A flash in the pan? A steady, lovesick heartbeat? My next breath? Is it speaking? Is it listening? Is it waiting? Is it tiresome? Is it practiced? Is it learned? Can you fail? Is it an evening walk down the street? Is it a suckling babe at his mother's breast? Is it painting? Is it writing? Is it lovemaking? Is it hammering nails? Is prayer that burst of creative genius, that fleeting brilliant thought bobbing in and out of consciousness? Is it the work of your hands? The passionate pursuit of purpose? Is it faithfully creating something out of nothing —

Still Praying...

He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
